A journey to the scared peak of 

“SRI-PADA”

A "KODUKARA" pilgrimage refers to visiting a sacred site for the very first time. 💛 ancient rituals and customs are followed with great devotion. [someone who is visiting the scared mountain for the first time]
             

KODU= A first time pilgrim
KIRI-KODU= A child making their first pilgrimage.
DANDU-KODU = An adult making their first pilgrimage. 

before embarking on this journey, many people practice a period of spiritual preparation known as " PE VEEMA" this involves making personal sacrifices and maintaining purity in thought an action. 
SPECIFIC RITUALS- GETHTHAM PAANA, HARAMITI PAANA, SEETHA GANGULA, AEHELA KANUWA AND SRI PADA MALUWA.

Eventually, the goal is to finish the worship before dawn and turn to word the horizon. this breathtaking moment is called " IRA-SEWAYA " watching the sunrise from the peak-which is one of the most spiritual nightlights of the entire pilgrimage.

> MANALI WINTER ❄🏔

  A MOMENT IN THE SNOW ⛄ ❄   ☃ A few years ago, in January, I visited the town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh, India, located near the snow-capped 🗻Himalayan mountain range.      It was beautiful city surrounded by snow-covered mountain ranges and seen the snow falling even as I arrived was the most beautiful moment, I saw in my own eyes❆.  because it was my first time experiencing snow, the feeling was more magical🌟 than cold  👉 when we first visited the  Hadi Mba  Devi Temple , the heavy snowfall ❆ made the afternoon look dim and misty. because it was snowing too hard to even take photos, we finished our prayers and headed back to our resort. The darkness combined with the snow made me feel like was a character an ancient tale, because that mysterious environment was mixed with the snow that extent.   Report: - ABSOPTON OF THE HEAVY METAL LEAD(Pb) by INTRODUCED AND NATIVE WEED PLANTS. Although I eventually chose to pursue Arts, Science was always the subject I loved most. I had enough talent and experience to follow the Bio Science stream, but I quickly realized that Science requires total focus. If you don't give it your full attention, it easily slips away. ​Trying to keep my mind on Art while practicing Science was a challenge that slowed down my academic path. This memory comes from a time when I was part of a high-achieving group of students in a research project organized by the National Science Foundation at the University of Peradeniya. ​The project focused on "The absorption of the heavy metal Lead (Pb) using invasive and native weed plants." However, towards the end of the project, I handed over the remaining work to my teammates because I had to travel abroad for an Arts competition.
