Academy experience

                        At first, I just wanted to help younger students prepare for their exams by sharing what I knew. because I was good at explaining things, my teachers encouraged me to take on more. I started by focusing on two subjects, which helped me deepen my own knowledge while helping others.

Later, while I was at university, a senior teacher invited me to join an academy. I took a special course to improve my teaching skills, and for a while, I kept this role a bit of a secret. 🤐

I went through the selection progress every six months and ended up teaching at various centers, including places Kurunegala-pencil opera, Kandy-no zero, Rambukkana, Mawanella, Kadawatha, Nittambuwa and Kegalle. i had great support from another university friends and other teachers and I felt very proud of the work we did.

Even though i m planning to leave once my current student finished their lessons. so, that I don't leave them in the middle of their studies. I'm still helping them with their exams and assignments.

While the academy o/l and A/l student still address me like and sister, there was one little student in my grade 5 class who always habit to bring me snack. the most emotional moment was when they found out I was leaving, they cried while asking me why I had to go? it made me realize when you become close to someone, age doesn't matter. to the older students, I may be a sister, but, to that little one, I am their beloved teacher. That kind of connection is something very special.


At first, I didn't fully understand what it meant to be a "teacher." I only realized the true impact of the role once my time with the students started to come to an end.

 Even now, outside the classroom, I see myself as a big sister to them rather than just a teacher. I feel like I still have a lot to learn before I can truly call myself a "teacher." For me, this has been a temporary but beautiful and honorable experience.

 I prefer not to name the subjects I taught, because, in my heart, I am still a student myself.

                  I see April as my month, primarily because it is my birth month. > MANALI WINTER ❄🏔

  A MOMENT IN THE SNOW ⛄ ❄   ☃ A few years ago, in January, I visited the town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh, India, located near the snow-capped 🗻Himalayan mountain range.      It was beautiful city surrounded by snow-covered mountain ranges and seen the snow falling even as I arrived was the most beautiful moment, I saw in my own eyes❆.  because it was my first time experiencing snow, the feeling was more magical🌟 than cold  👉 when we first visited the  Hadi Mba  Devi Temple , the heavy snowfall ❆ made the afternoon look dim and misty. because it was snowing too hard to even take photos, we finished our prayers and headed back to our resort. Bio science research crew

  Report: - ABSOPTON OF THE HEAVY METAL LEAD(Pb) by INTRODUCED AND NATIVE WEED PLANTS. Although I eventually chose to pursue Arts, Science was always the subject I loved most. I had enough talent and experience to follow the Bio Science stream, but I quickly realized that Science requires total focus. If you don't give it your full attention, it easily slips away. ​Trying to keep my mind on Art while practicing Science was a challenge that slowed down my academic path. This memory comes from a time when I was part of a high-achieving group of students in a research project organized by the National Science Foundation at the University of Peradeniya. ​The project focused on "The absorption of the heavy metal Lead (Pb) using invasive and native weed plants." However, towards the end of the project, I handed over the remaining work to my teammates because I had to travel abroad for an Arts competition.
