DEDUGALA then and now

 Dedugala๐Ÿ€

dedugala is a village very close to my town. its place filled with natural beauty and lots of greenery. I have visited it many times because it is perfect spot to go on a picnic with friends๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜Ž, take photos at the viewpoint, and give my eyes a rest from my phone screen. it was the best place to just relax and feel free.๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ˜‡

Cyclone Ditwa

The last time I went there was to get a drone video๐ŸŽฅ. since that day, I haven't been back not because I didn't want to, but, because it became restricted ditwa cyclone๐Ÿ˜ชchanged everything.

In an instant, the green landscapes were covered by landslides of mud and rocks ๐Ÿฅบ. houses were buried, and many lives were lost. The villages were completely displaced and lost everything. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Even if the natural beauty eventually returns to Dedugala, the people who lived there won't, ๐Ÿ’” it's hard to believe this happened to people who loved nature so much๐Ÿ’š. I heard that the kind people who gave us durian for free during my last visit are no longer there.... ⚠

Although we can provide food and clean water to help, ๐Ÿ’ซ the feeling of peace and joy I once had when visiting dedugala will never be the same again. ๐Ÿฅบ
