👩🏻‍💻Unforgettable weeks

This opportunity to join the company came quite unexpectedly. I was chosen because I am able to communicate well and present ideas clearly, combined with the practical knowledge I gained from my previous experience as a site supervisor. A major factor was the time I spent researching and preparing data reports at various sites after completing my A/Ls.

​Usually, there is always a team ready to step up, but this time, the supervising engineer had to travel abroad suddenly, so I had to step in. Even though I have not studied engineering, my father coached me on exactly how to make the presentation.

                      

​I eventually presented at a seminar held at the Battaramulla branch, representing the company. The best part is that, in a short time, I was able to win certifications for the company while representing them.

​While my main goal was to represent my father's company, I was also motivated by that came with the job, such as accommodation, a vehicle, and meals.

​Now, I am aiming to participate in his international conferences as well.                                                     ✈

 I know I may not be fully qualified for that level yet, but it is surprising to me that, while continuing my studies, I am now genuinely interested in learning what is needed to reach that goal.

> MANALI WINTER ❄🏔

  A MOMENT IN THE SNOW ⛄ ❄   ☃ A few years ago, in January, I visited the town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh, India, located near the snow-capped 🗻Himalayan mountain range.      It was beautiful city surrounded by snow-covered mountain ranges and seen the snow falling even as I arrived was the most beautiful moment, I saw in my own eyes❆.  because it was my first time experiencing snow, the feeling was more magical🌟 than cold  👉 when we first visited the  Hadi Mba  Devi Temple , the heavy snowfall ❆ made the afternoon look dim and misty. because it was snowing too hard to even take photos, we finished our prayers and headed back to our resort. Bio science research crew

  Report: - ABSOPTON OF THE HEAVY METAL LEAD(Pb) by INTRODUCED AND NATIVE WEED PLANTS. Although I eventually chose to pursue Arts, Science was always the subject I loved most. I had enough talent and experience to follow the Bio Science stream, but I quickly realized that Science requires total focus. If you don't give it your full attention, it easily slips away. ​Trying to keep my mind on Art while practicing Science was a challenge that slowed down my academic path. This memory comes from a time when I was part of a high-achieving group of students in a research project organized by the National Science Foundation at the University of Peradeniya. ​The project focused on "The absorption of the heavy metal Lead (Pb) using invasive and native weed plants."
